Prime Global Logistics & MTG Charity Golf Day

Still Buzzing: How the Prime Global Logistics & MTG Charity Golf Day Helped Us Support WA Families — And How You Can Join Us This Year

At the Hero Hunter Foundation, we’re still buzzing from the incredible generosity shown at the Prime Global Logistics & MTG Charity Golf Day held last November. It was a day filled with energy, community spirit, and a shared commitment to helping sick children and their families right here in Western Australia.

Together with the Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation, the event raised an extraordinary $130,000 — a figure that still leaves us speechless. Even more remarkable, this brings the total raised since the event began in 2021 to an amazing $300,000. Every dollar has stayed in WA, supporting families navigating the toughest journey of their lives.

A Day of Generosity, Laughter, and Big Moments

Last year’s auction was nothing short of spectacular, thanks to the businesses and individuals who donated unforgettable experiences and high‑value items. Some of the standout auction prizes included:

  • Perth Wildcats Inner Circle Experience — including a shootaround at RAC Arena, group coaching session with Wildcats staff, and a special address from Coach John Rillie.

  • Rottnest Island Overnight Package for Two — with accommodation at The Lodge Wadjemup, a round of golf, a feasting menu at Sunsets Bar & Dining, Rottnest Express ferry transfers and bike hire.

  • West Coast Fever 2026 Family Membership plus a signed team dress.

  • Corporate Box for a Fremantle Dockers 2026 Home Game.

  • Signed Luc Longley Chicago Bulls Jersey.

These items — and the spirited bidding that followed — helped push the fundraising total to new heights.

Why This Golf Day Matters

Since 2021, funds raised through the Prime Global Logistics & MTG Charity Golf Day have supported the Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation Clinical Research Education Fellowship, strengthening clinical trial capacity, inspiring new hospital‑led research, and ensuring more WA children benefit from the latest medical advances.

In 2025, Prime Global Logistics extended their support to include the Hero Hunter Foundation, and we are incredibly grateful. Their belief in our mission means more families receive practical, meaningful help during childhood cancer treatment — from fuel vouchers to essential support services that ease the burden of long hospital journeys.

Join Us This November — Make an Impact Where It Matters Most

We’re thrilled to announce that the Charity Golf Day will return this November, and we’re inviting businesses across WA to be part of something truly special.

There are so many ways to get involved:

  • Sponsor a hole and showcase your brand on the course

  • Support competition prizes like Longest Drive, Nearest the Pin, or Hole‑in‑One

  • Donate an auction or raffle item to help boost fundraising

  • Register a team and enjoy a brilliant day of golf, networking, and community impact

Every contribution — big or small — helps us continue supporting WA families facing childhood cancer. And every business that joins us becomes part of a growing community determined to make a real difference.

From the Bottom of Our Hearts — Thank You

To Prime Global Logistics, MTG, the sponsors, donors, players, volunteers, and everyone who helped make last year such a success: thank you. Your generosity has changed lives.

We can’t wait to see what we can achieve together this November.

If you’d like to get involved, donate, or learn more about sponsorship opportunities, reach out — we’d love to have you on board.

Many people ask what is adult social care when exploring support services for adults. It generally refers to assistance provided to individuals who need help with daily living due to age, illness, or disability. Some learners explore educational resources from the College of Contract Management to better understand care systems and responsibilities. This can help build a clearer perspective on the sector.
